THE KESWICK CHALLENGE

I will be one of the Coaches facilitating at a number of Leadership Challenge Events being held in beautiful Keswick, Lake District, England next year. However, before I was accepted on board I had to pass the Keswick Challenge myself. What did that mean? Well, on Monday, 1st November 2009 I was jumping over rivers, doing a ‘spider woman’ up and down muddy hills and battling the storms and hail stones. All and all it was a four hour trek covering nearly nine miles, 2500 feet up. Lovely jubbly!! It certainly was a challenge but I suppose it had to be.

The magic and spirit of ‘The Keswick Challenge’ comes from embracing the great outdoors and that is all I am saying at present—I don’t want to spoil it for all you participants next year!!

I would encourage EVERYONE to take ’The Keswick Challenge’ because the sense of achievement that you get at the end of it is second to none—and although you might have sore muscles for a few days after it the inspiring memories of the challenge will last a lifetime.
